You're stuck in a time loop, unable to leave the lab! It's a Loop Lab!
Find clues, die, research science, die, solve puzzles, die, mix chemicals, die, and try to find a way out. Oh, and did I mention die? You'll probably do that a lot too.

Made for the GMTK Game Jam 2025.

If you're having problems with the browser version, such as frequent loading times, you can download an offline version below.

Known bugs:

  • If the cursor seems to not show the correct tool, it's just a visual bug. Check the top of the screen; Whichever tool is highlighted is the one currently in use. You can also click off and back on to reset it.
  • Sometimes your inventory will persist across loops. If you want to consider this a beneficial bug, go ahead. But you can always hit the button on the top of the machine if you want to keep everything fair.

About the computer password screen:

Yeaaahh, MV's built in name-entry screen is really weird. If I'd known it was going to be that wonky, I probably would've done something else. But it's not that bad. (Time DOES pause when you are on this screen)

Controls on password screen

Keyboard:

Arrows - Select letter

Z, Space, Enter - Input letter

X, Esc - Backspace

Mouse:

Left click - Select letter

Left click a highlighted letter - Input letter

Right click - Backspace

No, you can't exit the menu without entering something. Yes, it is dumb. Sorry!

Really well done, from concept to execution, I thought it was a great escape room adventure
